Performer
As a performer, I work to envelope audiences into a new world that questions the emotional behaviors of the human race. With a strong appreciation for & connection to the selection of music, each work I create or perform uses classical modern qualities to give new meaning to what can be defined as contemporary-jazz movement.


Choreographer
I believe that art is the physical & visual translation of life. My process for making this artwork begins by evoking emotion, letting the emotion grow into a physical sensation, and letting the sensation then become movement. By doing this, my work explores the complexities of the human mind and how it is or is not acted upon.
Teacher


While teaching young students, I work to integrate the same ideas by often referencing to my dancers what might be helpful for them to think about while executing movement. In my training I have discovered that the mindset of a dancer is the foundation for growth, therefore I encourage my dancers to have an internal dialogue with themselves that allows them to focus more intently on physical sensation of the movement, rather than visual “success”.
